Today is an exciting day for me. After school I'm going to take my permit test! I cannot wait. I've been waiting for this day for a lit over all of my life, and now it's here. I can't wait to take the test, and finally be able to drive. Even if it is with my parents. While I am extremely excited, I'm also very nervous. For those who don't know, I am an extreme worrier. If there is a WCS, there's no doubt that I've already thought of it, and so many other scenarios. Like what if I don't pass? I mean that's not the worst. What if I never pass? What if I do pass, and I'm a terrible driver? All of these run around my head, while I'm trying to concentrate on the Driver's Manual. Like how is one person supposed to memorize all of those signs!? This is too much for one person to handle. Well now that I've let that out, I should probably get back to studying now. Bye lovelies.
So this weekend is the anticipated Superbowl 50 between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers. No doubt everybody has got their side. I really don't care who wins. I'm just in it for the halftime show and the dip. I mean it's Coldplay and Queen B. Can't really go wrong with that combo. And my dad makes the absolute best cheese dip in the world. This dip puts all other foods are put to shame when he whips out the ingredients, and makes his masterpiece. I hold this dip very close to my heart and stomach, so whenever the Superbowl comes around I just get so excited. It's not even for the main part of a Superbowl. The game. I only care about the dip and Queen B. Well that's it. I hope everyone has a safe Superbowl weekend, and eat responsibly. Bai!
So our schedule is a bit different today, and usually I would be okay with this. But today I just cannot handle the culprit behind this change of day. I'll give you two words. Pep session. I strongly dislike them and don't see a need for them. I'd honestly rather stay in class and learn something , that's how bad these are. A lot of people are like, "get in the school spirit and be peppy" and I'm just thinking, please go away and bother someone else about this. I'm not a peppy person and I never will be, so you might as well give up. Yes, I understand that it's supposed to boost school moral and show other people's accomplishments, but I'm sure that there are better ways to do this than to try and force it upon everyone. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. There are others like me who feel the same way. Anyway. I'll just leave you with this and a question. How do you feel about pep sessions/rallies? Let me know below in the comments and be nice about it. Talk to you later lovelies.
As you know we're changing things up and I'm going to be focusing on challenges. So instead of going at this unprepared I did some much needed research. The video posted above is Tyler Oakley(My Queen) and Alfie Deyes doing the baby food challenge on Tyler's channel. They did another one on Alfie's channel as well, so after you finish reading this I suggest clicking on the video and watching both. Anywhosies. The baby food challenge is where one person is blindfolded and the other person feeds said person a spoonful of baby food. The person that is blindfolded has to try and guess what flavor the baby food is. Then they switch and the person who was feeding now has to guess.
This will probably be my first challenge video. And I'm excited and dreading it as well. Excited because I love watching these kind of videos and I can't wait to watch Emily cringe when she tastes one of the more unfavorable choices. I'm dreading it because she'll probably pick something just as bad for me. We hope you'll enjoy and I can't wait to do this. Alright bye! Happy New Year! *cue balloons, confetti, and noisemakers* It's a brand new year and a brand new me and whatever everyone else always says at the beginning of the new year. First of all, welcome back to my blog. I'm really glad you are and hope all 8 of you had a good holiday break. Second I'd just like to apologize for the lack of videos. We should at least have two uploaded. If we don't please let us know and we'll try to fix it. And third, we have some changes coming up for the channel that might make up for the lack of videos. Okay so the plan is to kind of split the channel up. We'll still do videos together, but I'll be focusing on challenges and she'll be focusing on hair and beauty. We're going to upload two videos instead of one. We hope you guys like it. Alright bai.
This has got to be the most busy and tiring month for me. Not only do I have finals next week and a pile of homework each night. But I also have three weeks full of performances lined up for my choir. It's nonstop work and I'm exhausted. That picture is my madrigal dress. For those of you who don't know what a madrigal is let me look up the definition for you. Madrigal- a part-song for several voices, especially one of Renaissance period, typically arranged in elaborate counterpoint and without instrumental accompaniment. Originally used of a genre of 14th-century Italian songs, the term now usually refers to English or Italian songs of the late 16th and early 17th-century, in a free style strongly influenced by the text. Basically we perform 17 songs in front of people in church while they enjoy good food, music, and even a play. By the time it's all over I'm exhausted, but I can't go to bed yet. I still have homework to do. I usually don't get to sleep until around midnight. Tonight is the last night for madrigals and we have a sold out performance. So wish me good luck. Alright I won't be on here for a while, so Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and Happy New year. See ya in 2016.
Lately I've been creatively drained and not just for this blog. We haven't filmed a video in two or three weeks. We've been trying to come up with ideas, but literally nothing comes to mind. Or we don't ever have enough time to film. We're really trying. We have a notebook out and we're putting down ideas. It's not as easy as some would like to believe. But we're going to push through this slump. I'm gonna go while I've got some part of my mind left. Have a nice day! Hasta lasagna!
So for this week I'm going to be a critic. The blog I have chosen to critique is pagebypage20time.weebly.com. It belongs to a close friend of mine,so I'm sure he won't mind. For his project he's writing a book. Or he will be when he's done with his break. The general layout of his blog is neat and easy to read. Though he could use a different photo for the headers. They're all the exact same photo of a flower, and while I like flowers a little change in scenery wouldn't hurt.
